Senior Design IEEE Robotics Competition

Our senior design team is raising money to enter the IEEE Region 5 Robotics Competition in Denver, Co. We have been designing and building an autonomous robot that will map a tunnel as well as investigate any buried caches located at tunnel endpoints. Our design will give our robot the ability to avoid obstacles, while driving itself around the playing field. It will display a map of the main tunnel it locates, as well as any dead end tunnels. It will also be able to recognize a cache and open it to expose a die, which it will then count the number of dots shown and display the number.

In order to show off our design and put it to the test, we need to make it to the competition! This will be a great opportunity to get some hands-on experience and network with others in our field. We need money to pay for our registration fees. We appreciate anything you can contribute!
