With a remarkable record of individual and team success, we are focused on growing our student-athletes both as players and people. We win conference championships and represent SIU on a national stage.
More than 70 of our golfers have been named WGCA Academic All-Americans; we have eight Saluki Hall of Fame members; and seven members have been on the MVC All-Centennial Team. To help our program grow and thrive, we must depend on passionate investors who understand the need for continuous advancement to recruit and develop student-athletes and compete for championships.
We need private support to fund initiatives that contribute to the program’s success and build awareness and pride for Southern Illinois University Carbondale.
WHERE YOU CAN MAKE AN IMPACT
SCHOLARSHIPS. Saluki Women’s Golf is dedicated to bringing the best student-athletes to SIU. Through scholarships, we build a community of diverse, successful Salukis who act as ambassadors for the university. Our student-athletes are role models in the community and the classroom.
OPERATIONS. From recruiting to training to competition and beyond, there are countless moving pieces underpinning the smooth and effective operation of Saluki Women's Golf. Every link in the complex operational chain, including support staff and coaching staff for our student-athletes, is important to overall success.
FACILITIES. Saluki Women’s Golf takes advantage of the terrific golf courses available in the region. Still, there’s a need to add on-campus practice facility to put our program on par with our competitors.
