Hello Paddle for Patriots Supporter,
This is Veteran Adventures' Coordinator Greg Nejmanowski (the guy who paddled the Mississippi River), emailing you with some updates about the fundraiser and raffle. First and foremost, I want to thank you tremendously for your support with the Paddle for Patriots mission! With your help, we have reached nearly 85% of our $25,000 goal to date! Your donation will not go unnoticed in the lives of veterans who will now have the opportunity to participate in Veteran Adventures expeditions and events that draw on the healing benefits of the adventure, challenge, and camaraderie - thanks to your support!!
This fall's upcoming expeditions and events include: Team River Runner Southern Illinois Kickoff, Giant City State Park Rock Climbing, Rend Lake Shooting Complex Sporting Clays, Annual Veterans Deer Hunt at Touch of Nature, Wayne Fitzgerrell State Park Pheasant Hunt, and a big Spring 2020 expedition. Please stay tuned to our Veteran Adventures Facebook page and web page for more information on upcoming expeditions and events
That being said, let's talk about your opportunity for outdoor experiences! As promised, the raffle for the Wilderness Systems Kayak Package (kayak, paddle, PFD) will be held at the end of this month. (A friendly reminder, for every $20 you donated, you have been entered one time into the kayak raffle.) On Saturday August 31st, at the Team River Runner Southern Illinois Kickoff the winner for the raffle will be drawn. This event will be held at Touch of Nature for veterans, current service members, and their families, and is free of charge. For more information and to register for this event, visit here. If you are unable to attend the event make sure you tune into Paddle for Patriots Facebook live, where we will be posting a video of the drawing. Either way, we will be contacting the winner. Good luck!
I can't thank you enough for all your love and support throughout the journey!
Together, we have made an impact. Together, we are helping END veteran suicide!!
